ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

COACHING. LIFE MATTERS

Founded in 2011 by Terry S. Smith, Coaching. Life Matters is a registered 501(c)(3) educational organization that provides transformative resources and caring people to those suffering from life wounds. We do this by helping individuals clarify their own story, uncover self-sabotaging beliefs that are negatively impacting their lives and the people they love, and break free from these beliefs so they can live a better life with peace and new found freedom.

The CLM legacy will have positioned it as a global organization that helped UNTOLD NUMBERS of people understand the urgency of getting unstuck from self-sabotaging ways of thinking by unlocking their story through the Core Story Process so they can experience new-found peace and freedom.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Terry S. Smith

Terry’s quest for personal answers and his desire to help others led him to a Masters in Counseling, a Masters of Theology, and a Doctorate in Personality, Religion, and Culture from Boston University. While in Boston, Terry spent ten years teaching and counseling on the university campus, ten years counseling and teaching in metropolitan Boston, and five years directing a counseling center.


Terry has lived in Nashville, Tennessee for the past twenty-five years and has been married to Charlotte Burkett Smith since 1965. In August of 2015, they celebrated 50 years of marriage. They have four daughters and thirteen grandchildren, and together they provide premarital and marital resources for couples seeking to overcome and grow through the obstacles people face in marriage.
